The Geared Positioner securely holds workpieces such as flanges and pipes and rotates them 360° to provide the most suitable position for welding operations. It increases efficiency in metal fabrication with adjustable speed control, pedal-based direction change, and various connection options.
Geared Type Positioner
The purpose of the welding positioner is to position the workpiece properly for welding operations. Welding positioners are specially designed equipment used to securely hold, tilt, and rotate industrial workpieces such as flanges and pipes up to a full 360 degrees. This allows the operator to work in the most suitable position on a stable surface. The positioner table (disc) is equipped with slots and holes that allow pipes, molds, or flanges of different sizes to be securely fixed.
One of the most important advantages of the welding positioner is its ability to work at workpiece angles that cannot be achieved by cranes. For this reason, it is widely used in the metal fabrication industry for shaping metal parts or components.
Depending on customer requirements, the welding positioner can be used alone or together with welding manipulators or pipe supports.
